Creepers. They're so beautiful but so trendy. I don't think I'll ever get over them though. These pictures were taken during the winter when my hair was short. I wanted to start my blog then but I never got around to it.



I'm wearing an Urban Outfitters/Ecote sweater, random lace leggings from my friend, and Demonia creepers.

My spiderweb nails! I always do my own nail designs and although it's always a time-consuming process, I still do them all the time. There's probably going to be a lot more nail photos on this blog. 
I'm excited to show more of my bursting closet here. I work at a second-hand clothing store and I come home with bags full of cute clothes ALL the time, and my closet and dresser hasn't been able to breathe for the past like 4 months. Tomorrow's my last day though! Then I'll be college-bound!

I've been fooling around with my camera lately, trying to churn out some ideas I've had rolling around. Sadly, I don't have a model readily available whenever I'm in the mood to take some pictures, so self timer has been coming in handy. Besides, when I was younger I wanted to be a model anyway. 

I'm hoping that soon I can round up a couple of friends and just play dress up and have a mini photo shoot so I can feel like I'm actually doing something with my summer. It's been work, go out, sleep, do nothing, repeat. Maybe I'll go on a bike ride today.
These photos were taken in the living room in my house, which has a bunch of old furniture. It's a beautiful room.

The beginning of something amazing

Hello! This is my first of what I hope to be many blog posts. My name is Taylor Nicole Richards, and I'm from central Connecticut. I have many ideas for this blog and I hope it becomes a successful, creative, productive outlet of mine as opposed to blankly scrolling on tumblr and twitter for hours, frying my brains. The above is what I look like.

I want this blog to be a fashion blog, a personal diary through photos and words, and a place to expose my creative endeavors in things like art, poetry, and creative writing. Maybe having somewhere to put everything would be a motivator to be productive.
Hopefully this blog will make me seem more interesting than I actually am. Maybe I shouldn't admit that. I'm going to college in New Haven, Connecticut in a month. This will be a place where I chronicle my slow-moving journey to the big NYC.
